CoQ-10 is well known as a powerful lipophilic antioxidant, combined with retinol, maximises the bioavailability of the CoQ-10. Together these protect from UVA and UVB oxidative damage and mitigate the deterioration of glutamine in the skin. CoQ-10 can increase elastin and collagen (type 1 and IV) production in in-vitro and in-vivo trials. We include niacinamide, to help it restore skin-damage, dampen inflammation and stimulate fibroblast proliferation and renewal. Suitable for all skin type.

Providing lipid/water balance necessary to maintain well-hydrated and moisturised skin. This contains magnesium ascorbyl phosphate (MAP), it is pure ascorbic acid (the most effective and best studied form), but with a magnesium salt added, which improves stability and reduces the risk of irritation. A range of phenolic compounds from green tea and chamomile including epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), selenium and zinc. These help the glutamine and panthenol to reduce transepidermal water-loss (TEWL) and improve impaired barrier-function. The antioxidant effect is increased by combining the vitamin C with vitamin E and ferulic acid and boosted further by CoQ-10.

How to use
To use the formulations together in a regime: use the hydrosol (distilled flower/herb water) to thoroughly cleanse skin (borage and yarrow works better on combination skin, rose is better for dry skin.). Follow with Elixir for day with bisabolol and tocopherol. Allow this to completely absorb before adding the serum - either Vitamin C or CoQ-10 with Retinol. Apply this thoroughly from neck up to forehead, using light, circular motions and wait until skin feels plumped but dry to the touch. Finally apply the Rose Absolute Cream. At bed-time, cleanse using the hydrosol and apply the Night Elixir, followed by your chosen serum. Allow this to be absorbed before applying the Rose Absolute Cream. Apply Spot-On on any particularly oily areas (t-zone). Use sparingly, only a little is needed to keep skin calm.
