This cream-serum hybrid formulation has been developed to provide mature skin with the precise biochemical components necessary for structural repair, hydration, and protection. By addressing skin’s fundamental needs: barrier integrity, collagen support, and oxidative defence, it restores functionality rather than masking surface imperfections.

Why This Cream is Different

Unlike mass-market formulations, this cream prioritises ingredient efficacy over superficial presentation. Instead of diluting active concentrations to accommodate marketing claims, this is designed with optimal bioavailability for every ingredient in mind. Each one is selected based on dermatological research, ensuring a formula that delivers measurable improvements in skin function. The result is a rich, non-greasy texture, providing hydration, repair, and protection without unnecessary fillers. A naturally elegant fragrance is derived from pure rose hydrosol and absolute. A nourishing cream, without synthetic fragrances or artificial colours.

Skin ageing is characterised by a decline in collagen production, cellular turnover, and barrier function. We add retinol esters, stabilised forms of vitamin A that support epidermal renewal and collagen synthesis with minimal irritation. These are paired with Niacinamide which enhances DNA repair mechanisms and strengthens the skin’s resilience, reducing visible sun damage. Copper peptides, have demonstrated effectiveness in wound healing, promoting extracellular matrix regeneration and improving skin structure.

Hydrating

Water retention is critical for maintaining skin plumpness and flexibility. Sodium PCA, urea, and sodium hyaluronate (multiple weights) function as humectants, binding moisture within the stratum corneum to prevent dehydration. These ingredients work synergistically with panthenol, which reinforces the skin barrier and soothes irritation. Commonly, formulations rely on occlusives alone for this, whereas this cream provides thorough hydration at multiple levels.

Moisturising

Lipid depletion is a key factor in ageing skin, leading to increased transepidermal water loss (TEWL). A balanced composition of baobab oil, borage oil and jojoba oil, are selected, all rich in essential fatty acids (omega-3, 6, and 9). These compounds restore the lipid matrix, enhancing barrier function without adding heaviness. Cocoa butter further strengthens the skin’s ability to retain moisture by forming a breathable lipid shield.

Firming

Loss of elasticity is primarily due to the degradation of collagen and elastin fibres. Vitamin C (in stable SAP form) stimulates fibroblast activity, reinforcing skin structure and reducing sagging. Ceramides (1%) help maintain intercellular cohesion, preventing structural collapse and gradually improving skin density. Dihydrocurcumin, is a potent anti-inflammatory compound, that minimises enzymatic breakdown of collagen, preserving skin firmness.

Nourishing

Essential micronutrients provide cellular metabolism and repair. Coenzyme Q10 supports mitochondrial function, ensuring optimal energy production for cell renewal. Avocado and argan butters, rich in vitamins A, D, and E, deliver essential antioxidants and fatty acids. Decyl oleate enhances bioavailability, allowing active ingredients to penetrate effectively with a soft, non-greasy finish.

Antioxidant Protection

Environmental stressors accelerate cellular ageing through oxidative damage. Black seed oil, CoQ10, and zinc oxide neutralise free radicals while providing anti-inflammatory benefits. Glucono delta lactone, a polyhydroxy acid, with a metal ions chelator, prevent oxidative degradation of skin proteins.

This product has no added fragrance or synthetic ‘Parfum’, it is made with botanical ingredients that have a natural scent, so the cream has a mild rose scent. Any ingredients in this cream, that have a scent, are there primarily for their skin-benefits, not their scent. We distilled rose water and this contains phenyl ethyl alcohol and a very small amount of geraniol, citronellol and nerol. As it is possible to be sensitive to natural fragrance allergens, please review the ingredients’ list before use. We want you to be confident that this product is right for your skin. We create formulas that are safe, effective, and respectful of sensitive skin.
