The Scent Pyramid

Each perfume has its own diagram of the notes, known as a scent pyramid.  This is a guide as to which note are prominent and where in the perfume they appear. In fact, most perfumes contain far more notes than are listed and not all rise and fall precisely as the pyramid suggests - perfumes are far cleverer than that! Some top notes last for a few hours and some bottom notes are detectable almost immediately. But as a guide, the pyramid is a useful tool.

All perfumes, samples and bottles are available in ethanol or an oil base. Oil is preferable for sensitive skin, if you want to avoid ethanol or prefer a more intimate scent.
