This is a gentle but effective sulphur-based gel that can be used as a mask or left on over-night to reduce a blemish.
Sulphur has been used for decades to help dry excess sebum on the skin that can be the cause of blocked pores and spots. It has been found to reduce bacteria on the skin, including Propionibacterium acnes, from multiplying and spreading.
This gel also includes niacinamide and azelaic acid for their beneficial effect on the skin barrier, which often needs to be strengthened when skin is battling unwanted bacteria. Paired with these are the soothers: aloe vera, colloidal oats and hyaluronic acid, so skin doesn’t feel dry or dehydrated. These calming ingredients help to rebalance skin and reduce inflammation. The inclusion of sage and borage hydrosols with green tea extract mean that these plant phytochemicals provide skin with their own soothing, anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties.

Directions This can be used either by applying a small amount to an inflamed spot, for a few hours or over-night. Or, if skin is very oily and producing blocked pores and inflammation, spread a pea-sized amount over the face and leave for ten minutes. Then wash off with tepid water. Skin should feel smooth and soft with reduced oiliness.
Use up to three times a day on small areas or if using as a mask, twice a week when skin is particularly oily and problematic.
