Hyaluronic acid, sodium hyaluronate and sodium PCA draw moisture into the skin, whilst vegetable glycerine, urea and butylene glycol ensure that the moisture is dissipated throughout multiple skin layers. This improves skin function and helps lessen expression lines. Niacinamide, useful even at low levels, significantly boosts the skin’s lipid barrier, reducing transepidermal water loss (TEWL). It improves ceramide pre-synthesis in the skin barrier and enhances the effect of kojic acid in fading unsightly melanin deposits.The combined effect delivers a healthy, smooth, appearance and prevents dryness and dehydration from returning throughout the day.

Botanical Nourishment

A carefully balanced blend of the butters and oils: avocado, coconut, hazelnut castor and olive squalane provide deep nourishment whilst remaining lightweight. Their penetration is enhanced by natural emulsifiers like soy lecithin. 

Antioxidant Protection

One of the newer additions to Rose Gallica is resveratrol (found in red grape-skins and much studied recently) for its powerful antioxidant activity. Ferulic acid is also potent and together they shield skin from those environmental stressors that can worsen premature ageing.
