An effective Hand Sanitiser that softens skin.
This recipe was formulated for use in a hospital at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. We were requested to make a sanitiser that the staff could use regularly without their skin become dry and uncomfortable.
We used ingredients normally found in skin care products, to sooth, protect and moisturise skin. This includes:colloidal cats, aloe vera, rose hydrosol; algae hydrosol and Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5).
The sanitiser scent is light, lemon/lavender. We used a number of essential oils which were tested against the H1N1 virus (in vitro) with promising results. These oils have not been tested on the Covid-19 virus.
The consistency is a light gel which spreads easily and leaves hands feeling soft and moisturised.
Sizes: 50ml (pocket sized); 100ml (bag sized); 250ml (bathroom shelf sized) and 1 litre refill bottles.
The 50ml is a glass bottle, all others are PET plastic. The bottles have a pump dispenser, except the refill bottle, this has a screw top.
This product contains 72% ethanol, so must be kept away from children at all times. The alcohol is denatured so will taste disgusting, but it is still possible for children to swallow enough to become extremely unwell. We can provide child-safe screw lids instead of lotion tops (please tick this option if required).
The alcohol content complies with WHO stipulations for effective hand sanitising during the Covid-19 outbreak.
Please do not place an order for this product if you are under 18.
