The re-formulation includes more naturals, it hasn’t altered the central theme, but it has heightened both jasmine and neroli.
A rich, exotic scent of deep rose, violet and neroli are interspersed with swirls of hyacinth, freshened by bergamot. Mimosa and jasmine grandiflora deepen the oriental accent. Both jasmine and rose remain prominent, brightened by bursts of pine, saffron, and cedar-wood. Sandalwood takes up the rich theme, and introduces the narcotic tuberose and velvety violet leaf. Black tea, clove and pink pepper sharpen the accent and keeps it from becoming cloying or too narcotic. The dry-down remains floral but retains the sandalwood and violet leaf. For rose-purists, there is also Rosebud and Pavlova has a central rose, with jasmine, but ends with sandalwood for a less floral finish. Elfin Glen is another clean floral, with predominantly blue-bells and summer flowers. For a sweeter scent, Dhoon Glen melds wild strawberries with vanilla oak.
