The Evolution of Dhoon Glen
Named after the ‘Waterfall Glen' where daffodils and bluebells mingle happily, but the arresting scent in the perfume is wild-strawberries, inspired by finding them growing happily there, under an unusual vanilla-scented white oak. The strawberry is soft and fresh, blackcurrant and raspberry extend its succulent strains. These are wrapped in a restrained vanilla with floral elements of hyacinth and rose, soften by a soporific narcissus and apple-blossom. As this begins to dry down, so the various notes of chamomile, tea and subtle gorse can be detected. For a scent with similar intensity, Aroma Borealis is a big bouquet with berry accents and Elderberry is a jam-like, fruit scent.This has a good longevity and suits most skin types, but really works on skin that naturally contains vanilla/warm apple tones. These are really enhanced by Dhoon Glen. It is sweeter than some of our more overtly floral or woody scents and keeps its 'shape' from day into night.

Which concentration?
EdP or Cologne Intense are the same dilution, roughy 22-24%.
Pure Perfume/Extrait is a stronger dilution at roughly 25-33% depending on the perfume, as some do well with a slightly increased intensity. Pure perfume is less volatile, so it sits closer to the skin, deepening the effect and emphasising the complexity.
The 10ml comes in a clear, screw top bottle, if in an oil dilution, a roller-ball bottle is supplied. All other sizes are in spray bottles.
Oil
All sizes are available in an oil base, rather than alcohol, this will make the scent more intimate; it will sit close to the skin, but lasts about 8-10 hours. We use golden jojoba oil as this is the closest to skin sebum and is least likely to cause any skin irritation.
